Skin resurfacing treatments have been around for many years. There are many non-surgical ways to smooth away wrinkles, even out skin tone, and achieve a younger, healthier overall appearance and glow.

You can Improve deep wrinkles, fine lines, skin tone and texture in just a single treatment with our fractionated C02 laser.

Collagen is one of the biggest factors for keeping the skin healthy. You can increase collagen production with many different treatments, such as lasers, platelet rich plasma injections, sculptra injections and microneedling, and now is a great time for these treatments because it is easier to avoid the sun during the winter months.

To achieve some of the most dramatic results with maximum precision and minimal to moderate downtime, fractional CO2 laser skin resurfacing can rejuvenate your skin.

Using the latest advances in laser technology, fractional CO2 removes the very top layer of the skin, revealing the smooth and youthful complexion underneath.

This non-ablative laser uses a wavelength that does not cause the water in the tissue to evaporate (ablate) but rather the laser energy heats the tissue in a controlled demeanor. The rise in temperature stimulates neocollagenesis, a process in which new collagen and elastin is produced. Collagen is a fibrous protein that is responsible for giving the skin its elasticity. By producing new collagen the skin regains its overall youthful look. As your skin heals, it becomes smoother, tighter and more evenly toned. With time you will see a reduction in wrinkles. Since the treatment does not involve ablation, treatment downtime is significantly reduced in comparison.

The unique power and precision of our C02 laser technology, enables us to customize treatments for your specific skin concerns, with optimal comfort and healing time.

During your treatment you will feel a warm sensation as the laser is applied. Here at Inspire, we use a continuous cooling device to increase patient comfort. Pro-nox or relaxation air may also be used for extra comfort. A topical anesthetic cream is applied to the skin before treatment to numb the area being treated. Depending on the treatment area, you can expect the session to last approximately 45 minutes.

Immediately following the laser procedure, your skin will feel warm and be red and swollen, depending on individualized treatment settings.

With C02 laser your provider can offer you amazing results on a range of skin aging concerns, from deep wrinkles to fine lines and uneven skin tone and texture.

Typically, improvement of the treated area will continue for up to 12-18 months following the procedure.

Lumenis CO2 laser procedures are not suitable for everyone, for instance patients who have taken Accutane (Isotretinoin) for acne within the past 6-12 months, or have a history of keloid formation are not suitable candidates.

Depending on individuals skin type, risks may include change of pigmentation, infection, redness, textural changes or scarring.

During your visit at Inspire, all treatment options are individualized and contraindications and risks based on your concerns and medical history will be reviewed, before choosing the best treatment for your needs. Aftercare, including a skin routine will also be discussed.

The main advantage of C02 is that results are visible after a single treatment. As your skin heals following the treatment, you will begin to notice improvement in wrinkles, fine lines, tone and texture.

What a great way to start the New Year. Happy 2020!!
